Candle Care & Safety Instructions
Safety First
- Burn within sight
- Keep away from children & pets
- Keep away from things that can catch fire
- Never leave a burning candle unattended
- Allow the candle to cool down before moving
- keep the candle on a heat-resistant surface, away from flammable materials, children and pets
Burning Instructions
First burn matters: Allow the candle to burn until the entire surface has melted evenly, ensuring a full melt pool, approx. 2 hrs. This helps prevent tunnelling and sets the stage for consistent burning in future sessions.
Trim the wick: Trim the wick to approximately 1/4 inch (approx. 7mm) before each burn, this is to promote an even burn and minimise soot.
Avoid Drafts: Place your coconut and soy wax candle away from drafts to prevent uneven burn and to ensure a long lasting candle.
Burn in sessions: Limit each burning session to 3-4 hours to prevent the candle from overheating and ensure a clean, efficient burn.
Mind the melt pool: Always allow the melt pool to reach the edges of the container to avoid tunnelling and maximise the candle's lifespan.
Extinguish properly: Use a candle snuffer or gently blow out the flame to avoid unnecessary smoke and ensure a clean extinguishing process.
Storage tips: Store candles in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
